It’s that time of year where colleges re-open for a new term. Having been a student myself I know that you want to be comfortable in college. But you don’t have to sacrifice looking good to be comfortable and you don’t need to spend a fortune either. Let’s face it students don’t usually have a big budget!
I’ve put together a few key items and I think these pieces are versatile enough to mix and match so you can create different looks without having to buy loads!
A good coat will see you through the college year. I love the fur lined hood on this padded jacket from H&M which also comes in navy or black. It can be thrown on over any outfit and will keep out the morning/evening chill on your commute. H&M
For a dressier look I love the colour of this zip detail wool blend coat. It also comes in grey or black. H & M
These oversized jumpers are so handy and look great over skinny jeans or leggings. They come in a range of colours including this gorgeous autumnal green. H&M
These fine knit jumpers are a fantastic piece for layering and again they come in a range of colours. H&M
These high waist stretch jeggings are comfortable and stylish. They’re a great price. Buy the grey and the blue and they will carry you through the term! Zara €19.99
You can’t go wrong with a pair of black skinnies and the rips in the knees of these ones are very on trend. Zara €19.99
Ankle boots are a great wardrobe staple at this time of year. I love the quilted detail on these zip boots which also come in black. €25 Dunnes stores
these long sleeve crew tees are another brilliant piece for layering. They are so comfortable! Gap €14.99
I find the quality of gap clothing very good, they last and they wash well. It’s my go to store for basics. I would recommend signing up to become a gap VIP to keep up to date with their latest offers. You can do this in store or online at http://www.gap.eu. They always have offers on!
Layer up with a cosy scarf. Scarves are a great accessory to keep you looking good whilst keeping you warm. Penny’s have a fab range in store including this gorgeous check one. €9.
Lots of high street stores offer student discounts so be sure to ask in store for an extra little bit off!
Happy studying! Lisa xx
